MrSteam's D1 Sensor is meant for the D1 control only and commercial use.

Tips and Tricks:
Soldering and shrink wrapping the wires is always the best way to connect the sensor to the cable. However, you can use butt connectors and wire nuts - we just do not recommend it. 
Sensor only needs to be sticking out 1/2 inch from wall surface.
